Inspiring innovation event at Cambridge University Press & Assessment

With keynote speeches from leading voices across technology and education, speakers explored how to nurture critical thinking in a fast-changing world, build a culture of sustainable innovation, and identify where AI can add genuine value.

Internal knowledge-sharing via exhibitions and workshops in our Cambridge and Manila offices buzzed with examples of colleague innovations in customer experience, the application of AI in teaching, learning and assessment, and maximising the benefit of data. Using AI ethically and responsibly was a core thread running throughout the day.

Julie Dennis, Cambridge’s Chief Technology Officer, and Guy Nicholson, Deputy Global Managing Director of Group Operations, introduced the day: “At a time when misinformation and disinformation represents one of society's greatest challenges, Cambridge's responsibility to advance knowledge, learning and critical thinking has never been more urgent.”
