Electric Vehicle Charging Points at the Maurice Wilkes Building
Electric cars are becoming more mainstream as the technology supporting electric cars (EVs) and batteries continues to improve, drawbacks such as high cost, limited range, performance issues, long charge time, and a dearth of charging stations are fading away.
Staying ahead of the ever-changing transport scene is critical to keeping businesses on St John’s Innovation Park from being left behind.
St John’s Innovation Park has electric car charging points available to the public located in the car park of the Maurice Wilkes Building. Anyone can download the Pod Point Open Charge app, at the Apple App Store or Google Play and access one of the charging stations and charge their car, it is that easy!
There are 4 bays located at the front of the Maurice Wilkes Building, which are kept free for drivers to charge their cars. The Maurice Wilkes Building is staffed 24/7 if you are unsure of the location of the charging bays or have any questions, the onsite team will be happy to assist.
Since electric cars have zero tailpipe emissions, we can all look forward to cleaner air when there are more electric cars on the road!
